The entertainment resort complex, based in Orlando, Florida, was compelled to close and halt its operations due to the menace of COVID-19 which became prevalent around the globe. Not just Universal Orlando Resort, but many different theme parks, restaurants, events, and other entertainment spots witnessed their temporary closure because of the Coronavirus. Having said that, as time passed by, a large number of places were seen getting reopened, but phase-wise and not in one go. Before resuming its operations, Universal Orlando Resort was obliged to submit a detailed plan to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force in order to get approval.
New guidelines added by Universal Orlando Theme Park:
Keeping in mind the uncertainties and spread of Coronavirus, the authorities were expected to bring about certain changes to the procedure of running the theme park, such as new guidelines. The wait was certainly over for the crowd, however, taking into account the prevailing situation regarding pandemic COVID-19, the authorities had to allow limited crowd capacity. Another major feature or guideline which was taken into effect was the requirement of temperature check. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above was not allowed to get the entry. There were other important measures taken into account as well. To practice social distancing and keeping 2 meters or 6 feet distance was also crucial.

It was also very important for the crowd to wear face masks and using hand sanitizers on a regular basis. Other safety measures were taken for the Universal Orlando Theme Park’s Team members as well, such as temperature check and extensive training regarding new procedures.
