ORLANDO, Fla. – On Thursday morning, a person was shot inside an apartment on Millenia Boulevard.
Authorities were dispatched to the Fountains Apartments in the 5300 block of Millenia Boulevard after receiving reports of a shooting. A gunshot wound was discovered on a male victim.
The victim was awake and conscious when he was taken to the hospital. His age and health status are unknown.
Suspects in the shooting are being searched by police, but no other information was provided.

At 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, officers received a call about a shooting at 5806 Folkstone Lane, just south of Curry Ford Road. Julian Burgeson was found shot inside one of the units at Canopy Apartment Villas, according to investigators.
The 20-year-old man was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.
The killer’s identity has not been revealed by the police. They have also refused to say if anything was taken during the break-in.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A jury found a woman not guilty of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer on Thursday night, more than four years after she was shot in her bed by a Winter Park police officer during a well-being search.
Bobbie Sapp, 50, is a registered nurse who has never been convicted of a crime. She told News 6 ahead of the trial that she thought her ex-boyfriend used the well-being search as revenge.
Sapp was initially charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer and two counts of attempted murder with a firearm. Prior to the start of the trial, the prosecution dropped the attempted murder charges.
She faced the possibility of spending the rest of her life in jail if convicted.
Following a jury trial, Sapp was found not guilty on all charges on Thursday evening.
JACKSONVILLE, FLA — According to sheriff’s officials, The Florida woman was critically shot in the head when her neighbor’s gun fired while he was cleaning it a short distance from her house.
Jacksonville was the scene of the shooting on Sunday afternoon. The woman’s name has not been released by police, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
When police arrived at the house, a neighbor informed them that the gun had fired unintentionally while he was cleaning it. When the shooting occurred, the neighbor was about 40 to 50 yards away from the woman’s home.
Sgt. Edwin Cayenne of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told news outlets that “At this early stage of our investigation, this appears to be a tragic accident with the most unfortunate of outcomes,”
According to him, The neighbor is cooperating with the police. There’s no news yet about whether he’ll be charged.
