ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FLORIDA: The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said a woman was shot to death in a shooting Wednesday night in West Augustine.

Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of Christopher and Herbert streets near the New Mount Moriah Christian Ministry at about 6 p.m.

After arriving at the scene, authorities found the woman seriously injured, and the vehicle was crashed. She was immediately transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, she was later pronounced dead.

Shawn Alexander says the victim was her nephew’s girlfriend. According to Alexander, there was her nephew along with the girlfriend inside the vehicle. “This is terrible. To her family, for her family, for my nephew and his family — this is not right,” Alexander said.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

FLORIDA: As per the recently released report, a man shot a 1-year-old boy to death. Later he shot a 69-year-old woman, who was the grandmother of the 1 year of kid.

This terrifying incident has saddened the whole nation. The shooter later killed himself. The shooter was identified as 55-year-old Timothy J. Wall. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has not found any relationship between Timothy J. and the victims.

The shooting happened at the Publix Supermarket in Royal Palm BeachOfficials said they arrived at the shooting scene after receiving a call at 11:35 a.m. Unfortunately, both of the victims were dead when the authorities arrived at the scene along with the shooter.

“The real sad part of this, other than the fact that two people are dead, is that there was a chance that this could be stopped,” Palm Beach Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said.

Palm Beach County Commissioner Melissa McKinlay stated, “Tomorrow we must step up and engage in a very honest conversation about why this happened and what we can do specifically to prevent this violence. Inaction is not an option.”

PALMETTO, FLORIDA: According to the Manatee County deputies, a man was found dead in a shooting on Sunday morning in Palmetto.

The victim was later identified as 32-year-old Jamaal Brooks. Records show the deadly shooting happened in the 2100 block of 3rd Avenue E. at around 7 a.m.

The reports say the Manatee County deputies found Brooks with two gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Manatee County deputies are investigating to find the motive behind the deadly shooting. No information related to the suspect has been released.

Two people were shot leaving one dead on Tuesday evening at an Amazon fulfillment center in Jacksonville, Fla. The male victim was taken to the nearby hospital.

The victims were believed to have been employees at the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Pecan Park Road, located just south of the Jacksonville International Airport.  “It was actual gunshots, and we walked a couple of steps, you see two people laid out by the stairs,” a woman who works at the center said. The female victim was pronounced dead the scene and the male was transported to a hospital.

Lt. J.D. Stronko said there may have been a “domestic relationship” between the individuals involved. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deputies found a black female and black male with gunshot wounds. The suspect has not been identified. Also, the identity of the victims is also unknown.

There was a targeted shooting in June outside the Amazon facility which left one person killed and two others slightly wounded. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Assistant Chief Brian Kee has said in a conference that the victim who was fatally shot was a 20-year-old man, was waiting in line outside the Amazon warehouse to apply for a job.

A 39-year-old man killed his father-in-law and then took his own life in Clermont

Lake County sheriff’s officials said, a 39-year-old man drove his car into a Clermont home Wednesday night before he shot and killed his father-in-law and then took his own life.

Deputies say, the suspect fatally shot his father-in-law in the home then left and apparently killed himself.

According to the reports made by the detectives, the man walked into the home that belonged to his wife’s parents and confronted her father, shooting him. He then left the house after shooting his father-in-law. Deputies say that after that the man took his own life.

The incident was reported around 7:20 p.m. on Windchime Circle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The man is identified as Jeffrey Story. However, the name of Story’s father-in-law has not been released.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office Sgt said that Story’s estranged wife and multiple children were in the home but were not physically harmed. “You never know how people are going to respond to stress, and this just seems like one of those situations where this is how he responded to the stress of the separation,” Jones said.

Police are doing the necessary investigation for this incident. The evidence at the scene shows it appears Story went to the home with the intention to carry out the shooting.

3-year-old shot in the head in Orange County drive-by shooting

A 3-year-old boy was shot in the head and killed Tuesday night in 4000 block of Drexel Avenue in Pine Hills. Daquane James Felix Jr. was in a house with about nine people when a rival gang opened fire sometime before 9:21 p.m.

 

According to the boy’s grandmother, Veronica Felix,  Daquane was playing in the living room when she heard what sounded like firecrackers and discovered that Daquane had been shot in the head.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. There are several bullet holes in the front door, windows, and walls of the home.

“That’s a baby,” Felix’s uncle Dezmontae Adams said. “Anybody do that to the baby is, like, it’s crazy in this world. He a baby who didn’t do anything to nobody.”

The reports say that it was a drive-by shooting. The other family members saw a car speeding away after they heard gunshots. “It hurts bad. It hurts so bad,” Felix said. “I’m going to miss him.”

“But those are just two of the four drive-by shootings that have happened” since a gang attack in Pine Hills on July 7. “Each one we believe, our detectives believe, is an act of gang retaliation,” Orange County Sheriff John Mina said.
