President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested COVID-19 positive. Trump, 74, is at high risk for the deadly virus both because of his age and because he is considered overweight.

Donald Trump tweeted, “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”. “Let us all pray for the president’s health,” Pelosi said on MSNBC. She added, “This is tragic, It is very sad.”
He had held rallies with thousands of people in recent weeks in the run-up to the Nov. 3 election, despite warnings from public health professionals against having events with large crowds.
World leaders were quick to send the Trumps their well-wishes, with India’s Twitter-loving Prime Minister Narendra Modi among the first.
“Wishing my friend @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and @FLOTUS a quick recovery and good health,” he wrote.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted: “Like millions of Israelis, Sara and I are thinking of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump and wish our friends a full and speedy recovery.” Trump has come under sharp criticism for his response to the coronavirus pandemic.
