OCALA, Fla. β Police reported that a 14-year-old boy was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Ocala on Monday night. The terrible crash occurred on NW 42nd Street.
The SUV the boy was driving collided with a telephone pole and was nearly cut in two. According to Ocala.com, a portion of the chain-link fence that divides the highway from the Silver Springs Bottled Water Company was also destroyed.
Ocala police tweeted Tuesday morning, “Our hearts go out to the family at this terrible time.” βAt this time, the collision is still being investigated.β
Following the collision, police closed 42nd Street between NW 27th Avenue and NW 23rd Avenue.
