Leniquea Byrd, 19, is suspected of pulling the trigger and shooting Nitekka Lennear nine times in the chest, arm, back, neck and side.

“Someone just got killed! Someone literally shot her like 20 (expletive) times and she’s laying down at the end of the stairs,” a caller told a 911 operator.

Aniyah Thomas, Byrd’s household accomplice, is blamed for uring Byrd to take shots at the victim’s apartment on North Fiske in Cocoa. A police report says the victim, Lennear, and one of the suspects, Thomas, had a previous romantic relationship.

The report says, “A very loud bang is heard and then multiple other loud bangs are heard. The video ends with Lennear falling to the ground and the screen going blank.”

Byrd and Thomas are charged with second-degree murder. They pleaded not guilty and were ordered by a judge to await trial without bail.
