VOLUSIA COUNTYU, fla. Deputies reported that a DeLand man was trying to lure the children. He chased them to their homes and even inside the homes. The man is imprisoned after he was arrested.
Deputy further responded that he was following the four children and the name of the man is Jaime Atanacio-Perez, 21. He was following the children in a White Ford Truck.
He offered the children whether they would like to visit the park or get in the truck.
Deputies reported that he even entered the house, after knocking at the windows and doors. A parent resisted him and asked him to leave and he left.
Moreover, as evidence, a neighbor captured his photo and the photo of his truck.
Deputies guarded and patrolled the children’s house, took pictures from the neighborhood. The DeLand man totally refused and denied what he did.
He is charged with one count of Burglary of an occupied dwelling and four counts of luring the four children and now held on a $14000 bond. So now he is behind the bars.
