KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA: As per the Florida Highway Patrol, two people lost their lives in a crash on Monday afternoon in Kissimmee. A person along with a 6-year-old girl is critically injured.

Lt. Kim Montes, the Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman said the crash happened on South Poinciana Boulevard in Kissimmee.

According to the crash reports, a 21-year-old man, from Kissimmee was driving southbound on South Poinciana Boulevard. The driver crossed into the northbound lanes and hit another car head-on.

Troopers said the driver died at the scene. The 6-year-old girl, who was in the backseat got life-threatening injuries. A woman in the front passenger seat of the car was ejected from the car.

The victims were rushed into the hospital. The 6-year-old girl was transported to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She is expected to recover. The woman was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where she died later. The three people in the first car were not wearing a seat belt.

A 33-year-old Kissimmee man was driving the second car. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation.

KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA: According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a deadly accident in Osceola County on Tuesday morning left a woman dead.

The reports say the incident happened on westbound U.S. 192 at Simpson Road near Kissimmee. An investigation was going on at the scene. Records show all westbound lanes of U.S. 192 are closed in the area. Troopers asked drivers to use alternative routes, Shady Lane or Partin Settlement Road to Neptune Road.

The victim was a 54-year-old woman from Kissimmee. The woman walked into the path of the van. She struck the incoming van which was driven by a 27-year-old Kissimmee woman.

The 54-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. However, the driver of the van did not suffer injuries.

The crash is under investigation. No more details have been released.

KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA:  According to the Osceola County deputies, a man was arrested for raping a boy in Kissimmee.

Records say Tomas Parada-Guzman, 57,  is facing charges of sexual battery on a victim between 12 and 17 years old.

The deputies say they arrived just before 5 a.m after getting a disturbing call. The reports say a woman did not see her child when she woke up and then saw Parada-Guzman in bed next to her.

As per the woman, the child later approached her holding his shorts. Reports uncover the woman had told deputies the child has the mindset of an 8-year-old, which obstructs him while speaking. However, the charges reveal the child is older than 12.

The woman said she has a video that shows Parada-Guzman approaching the child while the child was lying exposed in bed. According to the deputies, the video shows Parada-Guzman compelling the child to perform sexual acts, and later he performed sexual acts on the child.

As per the arrest reports, Parada-Guzman told the woman “just leave it as it is, don’t say anything,” when she confronted him about the video. Parada-Guzman denied being the man found in the video.

Deputies said Parada-Guzman is currently being held on a $25,000 bond.

 

53-year-old man found unresponsive in a pool at a resort in Kissimmee

According to Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS, an unresponsive man was pulled from the pool at a resort in Kissimmee on Thanksgiving morning.

The reports say the victim was a 53-year-old man. Deputies say it is unknown whether the man went down a water slide or fell into the pool at Regal Oaks Resort.

A witness saw him unresponsive and immediately called 911. As per the reports, a 911 operator guided a witness through the CPR process until first responders arrived.

32-year-old Kissimmee firefighter arrested for raping child

Deputies said a Kissimmee firefighter is accused of raping a girl on multiple occasions. Records say the victim disclosed the sexual abuse to an adult. Then the Apopka Police Department arrested the 32-year-old Argelio Pupo.

The reports say Pupo is facing charges of capital sexual battery on a victim under 12 and aggravated child neglect. Authorities have not released detailed information.

Police believe there could be more victims of the abuse. The Apopka Police Department is doing an investigation on this.

According to the Kissimmee Fire Department, Pupo has been placed on administrative leave without pay.

Deputies are looking for van involved in deadly hit-and-run in Kissimmee

Deputies said they are searching for the van and driver who fatally struck a person on South John Young Parkway Sunday and left the scene.

According to the records the crash happened at South John Young Parkway and Emmett Street at 7:33 p.m. Deputies said the Ford Transit Connect Van was involved in the incident.

Reports say the van will have heavy damage to the front portion of the vehicle and will be missing the lower portion of the grill.

According to the Kissimmee police, a SunRail, with six passengers on board, hit a vehicle on Thursday.

SunRail officials released an update saying, “Train P313 SB is delayed 60 mins due to police assistance near the tracks in Kissimmee.” The reports say the incident happened near Broadway and Neptune.

“No injuries are reported, however, that area is shut down for an investigation,” Kissimmee Police.

41-year-old Orlando man died in a crash in Kissimmee

According to the reports, a motorcyclist died on Monday after striking the side of a van in an intersection in Kissimmee.

Troopers said around 5 pm on Monday, a 41-year-old Orlando man was riding his motorcycle north on Poinciana Blvd when he struck the side of a van that was driving south on Poinciana Blvd and had turned left onto Old Tampa Highway, directly in the path of the motorcyclist.

Reports show the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital immediately. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead. However, the driver of the van was uninjured.
