2 women shot while sleeping in Holly Point Apartments

Holly Hill, Fl. – According to Holy Hill Police, two women were shot in one of the Holly Point apartments while they were sleeping in the early hours of Monday.

At around 1:15 a.m., officers said they responded to Holly Point Apartments at 1000 15th Street after reports of two people being shot.

Investigators said a 19-year-old woman and a 62-year-old grandmother were shot while they were sleeping in their separate bedrooms.

Police said both the women were shot in the legs. He is being treated at a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said that “shooter(s) stood outside, firing a high-caliber weapon through apartment walls and windows.”

He said bullets also hit two other occupied apartments, but no one else.

Investigators said they were looking for the shooter or the shooter.

1 teen died, 2 hospitalized after overdosing in Holly Hill

According to the Holly Hill police, one girl is dead and two others are hospitalized who were found Tuesday night suffering from signs of an overdose.

The reports say the teen’s ages 15 and 16. Deputies responded to a home on Tuscaloosa Ave. on Tuesday around 10 p.m.

“All three victims were unresponsive and appeared they were suffering symptoms of an unknown overdose,” police said. “All three victims were immediately transported to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment. They were each subsequently transported to Arnold Palmer.”

The girl who died is identified as Corra Graveline. Her mother Joanna Graveline posted on Facebook that her daughter hosted a ‘Friendsgiving’ and that the teen and two of her friends decided to take drugs.
