Police have arrested a man in the shooting that happened around 3 a.m. on Saturday at the Waffle House on 4th Street. Reports say they have arrested Damian Cayo on one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Deputies said Cayo was taken to the Cook County Jail.
As per the reports, in the shooting, a 40-year-old man was injured with a gunshot on 4th Street. Along with that, a 28-year-old victim was found nearby on Oak Street. The victims had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Tift Regional Hospital (40-year-old man) and South Georgia Medical Center (28-year-old).
