ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – On Monday morning, a car crashed into an Ormond Beach shop, but no one was seriously hurt.

The accident occurred near Granada Boulevard at Walgreens on Nova Road.

The driver was treated for minor injuries, according to authorities. There were no other casualties.

The cause of the driver’s collision with the store is unknown.

According to the manager, the store will most likely reopen on Tuesday, but the drive-thru will remain open.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA- According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a person was pronounced dead while two others were reported as injured followed by a fatal car crash in Volusia County.

According to the deputies, the occurrence of the crash was on State Road 40 and check station road. Apparently, a car that was heading westbound had traveled into the westbound lane and hit the front of a truck.

The troopers said that the truck which got hit had a wheelchair in it which apparently detached and hit a car behind it on the westbound lane.

The passenger in the truck was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Reportedly, the two drivers from the truck and the car were immediately transferred to Halifax Medical center followed by serious injuries from the accident.

Further investigations are being conducted by the officials.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FLORIDA- According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an 11-year-old girl was killed in a car crash on Friday. The occurrence was during a County street race.

According to witnesses, the two cars; Dodge charger and Kia Optima were seen racing near Secret Lake drive midnight. The driver of the charger, 19, a Davenport man had apparently failed to slow down and was seen crashing into the back of the Toyota RAV4.

Upon the crash, the RAV4 was seen hitting a sign in the median while the Charger was witnessed to be hitting a speed limit sign.

Although Optima was also involved in the crash the 17-year-old driver was reported to be harmless.

The driver of the charger according to the troopers suffered minor injuries according to the troopers while the passenger, 19 was not injured at all.

According to news, the passengers in the Toyota were exposed to much damage. The driver of 35, a woman is reported to be in serious condition as well as one of the passengers. The other passenger who was an 11-year-old girl was reported to have been dead at an area hospital.

According to the records, the child hadn’t had the seat belt on while the two other women had it on during the accident.

According to reports, the charges are yet pending as the investigations are still going on.

TAMPA, FLORIDA- A car was reported to have slammed into a home in Tampa. According to the Tampa Police, the car was stopped partially inside the house but no injuries were reported.

2500 block of South West Shore Boulevard was the crash location according to the police.

Although the reports stated that the driver of the car had lost control as the reason behind the crash, the exact cause is yet under investigation, according to the police.

Apparently, no charges have been pressed as yet according to the officials.

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA- One woman died as a result of the 3-vehicle crash in Daytona.

On Thursday afternoon Daytona Police Department reported a 57-year-old woman who died with her bruises who was engaged in a three-vehicle crash on international speedway Boulevard.

According to Daytona Police Department, at about 11:30 p.m. victim was driving her white-colored 1996 Chevrolet S-10.

Near South Clyde Morris Boulevard there was stopped traffic and the woman failed to stop her truck and hit at the back of a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. Then S-10 strike a ford five hundred on its back and the pickup came to rest with the victim trapped inside, police informed.

No injuries were reported by drivers of Ford and Avalanche. S-10 ford was driven by 21-year-old woman and Avalanche was driven by 29-year-old Daytona Beach man, according to Police

A woman was taken out of her S-10 by police and taken to hospital, where she died after few hours.

No other vehicle and person was involved in this accident.

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA- On Friday midnight, an 18-year-old man was killed. He was hit by two cars in Main Street of Sara Drive on the north side of Jacksonville, according to the police report.

The man died at the scene.

The first car hit the man from south on Main Street, and then the second car hit him in the roadway.

The first car was driving by a 56-years-old woman, and the second car was driving by a 24-years-old man. Both the drivers were wearing safety seat belts and did not get any injuries, police reported.

Police arrests the man 

On Thursday, June 11th, 2020, a man was arrested by police for having charges of  Vehicular Homicide. The man was accused of causing the unfortunate crash due to which lives of 2 UCF students were lost.

The event of the crash took place on 9th January 2020. The place was East Colonial Drive and Cathcart Avenue, near downtown Orlando. Four women were driving in a white Volkswagen Jetta when a brown pickup truck struck their car. According to the reports, two young women out of four who were driving in that car, died on the spot while the other two were badly injured. The two women were  Shaunte Chambers and Angelesea Rock. Their age were 19 and 20 respectively.

According to the police, the witnesses have said that the truck driver was driving his truck unstable and was driving erratically.

The friends of both Shaunte Chambers and Angelesea Rock have spoken about them as being friendly and ones who took part in the Organizations at the UCF, actively.

The man who is called Brown is having charges of Vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of the crash. He is held at a $30,200 bond.
