TAMPA, Fl. – Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced that she has been tested Covid-19 positive on Wednesday despite being vaccinated.
Ashley Moody, the Republican attorney general of Florida tested positive for coronavirus even though she vaccinated herself earlier this year. Moody tweeted on Wednesday that she felt mild symptoms of this virus and self quarantined herself from her family members.
Moody Tweeted “I am experiencing mild symptoms and my family is in good health. As I continue to self-quarantine, I want to encourage Floridians to be vigilant about their health”.
Moody Positive test news comes four days after she was being with Gov. Ron DeSantis and Senate President Wilton Simpson in Del Rio, Texas for a press conference with Texas Gov.Greg Abbott.
The conference was conducted in an open-air hangar, Moody came in close contact with many Law enforcement officers at that particular time and got infected.
According to the latest report published by the Florida Department of Health, 11,292,335 people out of a population of 21,975,117 in the state have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
‘When you are vaccinated, you are highly protected against the virus but not 100 percent said Dr. Joseph Bocchini, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Willis Knighton Health System, Louisiana, USA.
