2 shot in a shooting in Lackawanna, say Jacksonville police

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, shooting in early Tuesday evening in the Lackawanna neighborhood left two people injured.

Records say the shooting happened on McDuff Avenue South, just north of Interstate 10.  Deputies found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to the hospital.

As per the reports, another victim walked into a hospital to receive treatment who got injured from the same incident.

Deputies said the victims have non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
