58-year-old Ocala man killed in a fatal crash, Florida


The Florida Highway Patrol reported the killing of a 58-year-old Ocala man on Tuesday night when he was riding a bicycle in Marion Country.

This fatal accident took place around 9:30 p.m. on NE 25th Avenue.

The FHP  further reported that the man did not have proper lighting on the bike while he was moving in the tight portion of the Northbound travel lane of NE 25th Avenue.

The rear of the bike was hit by the front of an SUV headed North, troopers said.

The man passed away on the spot, FHP reported.

But the driver did not get any significant injury, thus remain saved.
