Person killed in crash near Camping World Stadium, Orlando

According to the Orlando Police, a driver was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Reports say the victim’s car overturned in a crash near the stadium.

As per the reports, Orlando police have closed a nearby intersection as they investigate the accident. Records show police responded to the crash at 4:29 p.m.

 The two cars collided near Rio Grande Avenue and West South Street. One of the drivers was thrown from their car. Troopers said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Orlando Police Department advised drivers to avoid the area near the intersection and use North Tampa Avenue or Orange Blossom Trail as alternate routes.
