“Disney reopen” has new policies regarding covid19.
If you are planning to go to the happiest place on earth, you need to read this news because Disney is putting up some policies for their visitors, and you need to comply with them.
- Facemask:
Disney has confirmed that, all entering visitors must use Facemask. The glitter ones that doesn’t not have any ear loops, bandana or mask made of plain clothing are not acceptable.
Surgical mask, n95, Kn95 and three-layer ply facemask are acceptable. - Social distancing:
The parks and rides will be limited to a number of people at a time. That means a few people will be on the parks and others may need to wait. If you will be on a line, you may need to create 6 feet spaces from others. - Body temperature check:
Disney is also implementing a body temperature check at the entrance and also each entrance of the park. There is no official announcement if they will let people in with high body temperature. - Staff cleanliness:
The staff of Disney and their resort will clean the parks, handles, etc. - Cashless options: Disney is promoting cashless hand bands transaction over Credit or debit card or even cash whenever possible.
- Rides: Rides will be maintained at a social distancing pace. That means riders will sit in spacious spaces.
- Stations: handwashing and sanitization stations will be available throughout the parks whenever possible.
Disney is committed to protect it’s visitors, staff and all other members. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will reopen Saturday, July 11, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot will open July 15. The parks were closed in mid-March as coronavirus cases increased in Florida.
