Disney overcharges its annual passholders

Disney incorrectly overcharged its annual passholders

The Disney theme park is set to reopen on July 11th. However, it was recently seen that some of the annual passholders of the theme park have witnessed that they have been overcharged by Disney despite the theme park being closed for the 3 months.

Disney, as a response has confirmed that it was an issue and they are currently working on it to solve it.

One spokesperson in an email has said:

“Passholders on the monthly payment program were incorrectly charged today. We are in the process of reversing these charges and apologize for the inconvenience this caused.”

After the theme park was closed in mid-march due to the Covid-19, the monthly payments were placed on hold. Moreover, the theme park has confirmed that they will refund the payments made from March 14 till April 5 for the monthly passholders.

In addition to all this, the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom are set to reopen from July 11 with Epcot and Hollywood studio from July 15. There will be a phased reopening with limited capacity and safety measures in place.

Resorts and campgrounds were reopened from June 22.
