A man of Youngstown accused and arrested

YOUNGSTOWN, FLORIDA- According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s office, Fred Eugene Honrine of 51 was arrested on charges of exploiting the elderly.

According to the officials, Honrine undertook a project to repair the roof of the victim’s house while he was away in inpatient care at a rehabilitative facility. The reports say that the arrest was given $19,000 of which he only used $5000 to make sub-standard repairs to the roof. The rest of the money was kept with Honrine, according to Investigating Agents.

The suspect was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Calhoun County Jail with a bond of $5000, according to the FDLE.

The arrested is being charged with one count of exploitation of an elderly.
