SPRING HILL, Fla. – The US Postal Service is said to be unaffected by rain, snow, or darkness of night, however, an alligator could get in the way.
A customer who came to the post office to mail a parcel noticed the alligator. This post office is equipped with automatic double doors that lead to the lobby.
The alligator was securely removed from the foyer by a trapper.
If an alligator is 4 feet or longer and poses a hazard to people, pets, or property, it is considered a nuisance animal by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
For these kinds of circumstances, Florida maintains an alligator hotline: 866-392-4286.
