39-year-old man arrested on child pornography charges in Port Charlotte

PORT CHARLOTTE, FLORIDA: According to the reports, a 39-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on charges related to child pornography.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and members of the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force searched an apartment at 191 Date Street in Port Charlotte. The report says authorities discovered more than 400 pictures and 40 videos of child pornography on Brendon Boule’s phone.

As per the records, various cyber-tips were accounted for to the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children between Aug. 4 to Nov. 2. The reports say multiple child pornography files were uploaded in “FreeChatNow”, an online chat platform.

Authorities said the activity was traced and it was from Boule’s apartment at 191 Date Street.

Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell said, “Our partnership with the Fort Myers FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force plays a crucial role in the protection of our children. Each and every case is investigated exhaustively, with the end goal of getting predators off the street and behind bars where they belong.”

The reports say Boule was booked into the Charlotte County Jail. Boule is facing charges of transmission of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and violation of probation stemming from a 2002 arrest also related to crimes against children.

Boule is being held with no bond.
