25-year-old Florida teacher threatened to fail student if he did not send sexually explicit videos

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a Central Florida private school teacher threatened to fail a student if he did not send sexually explicit videos in exchange for payment to him.

Records show the 25-year-old Dion Bryant was a science teacher at Winner’s Primary School. Deputies said Bryant gave his cellphone number to a student in October. He then called him later that night to tell him to send sexually explicit videos of himself.

The reports say, the student initially refused to but Bryant said he would give him a poor grade if he did not. Bryant later offered to pay the student too. Between October and November 11th, 2020, the student reportedly sent three videos. Deputies said Bryant paid the student a $20 and $140 amount for those videos.

The student’s mother found the messages between him and Bryant. Deputies then arrested Byrant. He is facing charges including lewd conduct with a student by an authority figure, use of a child in a sexual performance, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
