WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: According to the recently released reports, a 21-year-old college baseball player was found dead in an apartment on  Sunday.

Police said the 21-year-old Derek Becker’s body was found near the Keiser University campus in West Palm Beach.

Records show Becker attended Cohoes High School near Albany, New York. As per the Keiser University CEO and Chancellor Arthur Keiser, Becker played on the Seahawk baseball team. Becker attended the school’s flagship campus.

There is no detailed information about the shooting that caused Becker’s death. Becker was overall an amazing player.

Keiser coach Brooke Fordyce said Becker, “an exceptional friend and associate to those whose lives he touched.”
